Slip between lanes to dodge rocks and kraken tentacles, and keep an eye on the enemy ships: some shoot, some cut across your path. Fire back when you can. Sunk pirates drop coins and pieces of an old map, and coins buy you a faster, meaner ship.

Read the next lane before collecting coins

The boat game combines lane hazards with enemy ships. First identify a clear route past the nearest rock or tentacle; then decide whether firing or a coin pickup fits that route. Look beyond the first open lane in case a crossing ship closes it shortly afterward.

A mistake to watch for

A dropped coin is an optional detour, not evidence of a safe lane. If collecting it would put you directly behind another obstacle, preserve a movement option and pass it.
