Budget pieces for the next climb

The runner moves automatically while holding the input spends pieces to build a ladder. Before holding, compare the obstacle height with your visible supply. Release once you have cleared the climb so you can conserve pieces for the next route choice.

A mistake to watch for

Holding continuously can spend the stock you needed for a later shortcut. A shorter path is useful only if you can complete it; gather enough pieces before committing to a climb that removes your alternative route.
