Allow room for the back of the bus
Compare the bus's full length with the next bend before steering into it. Use small changes in speed while you observe how the rear follows the front. At the parking area, line up early and check whether the entire vehicle fits within the required space.
A mistake to watch for
Judging a turn only by the front bumper can leave the rear too close to an obstacle. Revisit the same bend more slowly and watch the whole vehicle instead of treating the bus like a short car.
